paying additional for a gas bottle is alittle rough as its odd it isnt included already. Bedding not being included also rather odd. Otherwise like the company as i have rented multiple times in multiple countries. Keep it up and adventure on. Extremely limited pickup and dropoff times at this location.

Several faults with the vehicle which was disappointing - water intake would supply less than 5 litres, pop-top not always seating correctly when lowered, auxiliary heater not working consistently, especially when it was cold! But otherwise the vehicle was in good condition and comfortable I'd use them again, I think that's the best reference you can give. Price was not unreasonable, but creeps up with all the add-ons.

Flere feil med kjøretøyet som var skuffende - vanninntaket ville gi mindre enn 5 liter, pop-top sitter ikke alltid riktig når den er senket, ekstravarmeren fungerer ikke konsekvent, spesielt når det var kaldt! Men ellers var kjøretøyet i god stand og komfortabelt, jeg ville brukt dem igjen, jeg tror det er den beste referansen du kan gi. Prisen var ikke urimelig, men kryper opp med alle tilleggene.

It was a really great experience to visit Sweden and Denmark with Indie Campers. We enjoyed our trip a lot and the crew here in Malmo was wonderful!

Fridge would not register the gas setting so we lost some food however we contacted the Support team and they guided us to fix it. And it worked! The bed slats were not stable for two people and had to go under and put the slats back in.

Kjøleskap ville ikke registrere gassinnstillingen så vi mistet litt mat, men vi kontaktet supportteamet og de veiledet oss til å fikse det. Og det fungerte! Sengelistene var ikke stabile for to personer og måtte gå under og sette lamellene inn igjen.

We were more than happy about the vehicle and how professionally everything was handled by the local pick up team at Malmö Indie Campers - especially Mohammed who was not only super competent about the car and friendly in all regards but also went out of his way to help us with the following things: 1) We paid everything concerning our trip in advance. However there was one major problem concerning the deposit: it was not possible via the online indie campers website to use our credit cards to hold that deposit. we used 3 (!) different credit cards. first it said its not possible because of the swedish currency, which is ridicolous since it is a credit card and we paid with it all over the world. Then the indie campers platform said there are not enough funds provided by the credit cards to cover the deposit (which was 200-500 Euros). All 3 cards and the connected bank accounts had more than enough money on it to cover the deposit! We never experienced any problems concerning deposits or payments with any of our three credit cards before and we've had them for years. Its nerve wrecking and not a good feeling in any way when you try to get those credit cards working. Mohammed did all in his power to help us and we tried and tried...for more than two hours!! Finally it worked....why?...we didnt know...it just did. (we also had support from the indie campers chat but they couldnt find the error either). PLEASE FIX your online platform and how the deposit is handled. There seems to be a major flaw in your computer system. 2) We did book a child seat in advance via the indie campers platform. It is not possible to select an approbiate size concerning the height and weight of the child. Nor is there a check of availability for the timeframe you rent the vehicle. there were no appropriate child seats at the pick up station. so we had to take one that didnt fit at all. this is not only a health risk (!) for our child in case of an accident but would also be a problem if we were stopped by the police (which we werent lucikily) cuz this would lead to a fine. a couple of minor things: kitchen equipment: it would have been nice to have a cullender, a peeler and a kitchen towel. thats all;) Thanks for the great trip and kind regards, Anselm Tröster

Vi var mer enn glade for kjøretøyet og hvor profesjonelt alt ble håndtert av det lokale henteteamet på Malmö Indie Campers - spesielt Mohammed som ikke bare var superkompetent med bilen og vennlig i alle henseender, men også gjorde alt for å hjelpe. oss med følgende ting: 1) Vi betalte alt angående turen på forhånd. Det var imidlertid ett stort problem angående innskuddet: det var ikke mulig å bruke kredittkortene våre til å holde det innskuddet via nettstedet for uavhengige campere. vi brukte 3 (!) forskjellige kredittkort. først sa det at det ikke er mulig på grunn av den svenske valutaen, noe som er latterlig siden det er et kredittkort og vi betalte med det over hele verden. Så sa indiecamper-plattformen at det ikke er nok midler fra kredittkortene for å dekke innskuddet (som var 200-500 euro). Alle 3 kortene og de tilknyttede bankkontoene hadde mer enn nok penger på seg til å dekke innskuddet! Vi har aldri opplevd noen problemer med innskudd eller betalinger med noen av våre tre kredittkort før, og vi har hatt dem i årevis. Det er nervepirrende og ikke en god følelse på noen måte når du prøver å få disse kredittkortene til å fungere. Mohammed gjorde alt i sin makt for å hjelpe oss og vi prøvde og prøvde...i mer enn to timer!! Endelig fungerte det....hvorfor?...vi visste ikke...det bare gjorde det. (vi hadde også støtte fra indiecampers chat, men de kunne ikke finn feilen heller). VENNLIGST FIKS din nettplattform og hvordan innskuddet håndteres. Det ser ut til å være en stor feil i datasystemet ditt. 2) Vi bestilte et barnesete på forhånd via indiecamping-plattformen. Det er ikke mulig å velge en passende størrelse med hensyn til høyde og vekt på barnet. Det er heller ingen sjekk av tilgjengelighet for tidsrammen du leier kjøretøyet. det var ingen passende barneseter ved hentestasjonen. så vi måtte ta en som ikke passet i det hele tatt. dette er ikke bare en helserisiko (!) for barnet vårt i tilfelle en ulykke, men ville også vært et problem hvis vi ble stoppet av politiet (som vi heldigvis ikke var) fordi dette ville føre til en bot. et par mindre ting: kjøkkenutstyr: det hadde vært fint med en cullender, en skreller og et kjøkkenhåndkle. det er alt ;) Takk for en flott tur og vennlig hilsen, Anselm Tröster

Our overall experience with Indie Campers was fine/okay due to the offerings. We made the most of what we were given and had a great time on our trip. The humans we interacted with during pickup/drop off were great. The vehicle was as expected. Everything worked but it was definitely well used, for example, the shades were ripped and one drawer was wonky. The fridge didn't open and close well. We would probably rent from Indie Campers again, but plan to bring certain items from home and set our expectations appropriately. But here's the info that future renters need to know: the bedding kits are TERRIBLE. Bring your own bedding if you can. The "fitted" sheet is actually a flat sheet that barely covers the mattress (it does not fold under it at all) so you end up sleeping on the gross mattress at some point during the night. It must have been a twin size flat sheet for a full size mattress. The pillows are lumpy and flat and the pillowcases do not entirely cover them so the pillows hang out the end. Gross. The duvet is bigger than the duvet cover (again, something like a full size duvet trying to squeeze into a twin size duvet cover. The duvet is not meant for two people so you will have gaps and drafts and it can be cold! Next, the kitchen kit is lacking. There is no can opener. The pot selection is poor. For a camper serving up to 5 people (we had 2 adults, 2 teens) the only pot that could service us was the stockpot. The small lid fit neither the tiny saucepan nor the small skillet. The french press is tiny - services ONE person. The "sharp knives were 2 crappy steak knives. We stopped at IKEA on our way out and purchased a large skillet, a fabric dish drying pad (a drying rack would have been helpful, but no room to store it), oven mitts (the stockpot handles get really hot) and a garbage can. Fortunately, I brought from home a collapsible kettle, cloth dish towels, my own chef knife/paring knife/bread knife, collapsible food containers, garbage bags, suction cup hooks (to hang towels to dry from fridge, bathroom mirror, and shower). We tried to purchase a small folding step stool from IKEA but they didn't have any. The tallest of us was 5'7" and we could barely reach the fronts of the kitchen cabinets. They go way back too. It was extremely difficult to use them. Everything was so high - even strapping up the drop down bed was difficult. I wish that Indie Campers didn't make us purchase all these separate kits for use of the camper. Please just make it a part of the overall price. It's frustrating to have to pay extra and then it's of poor quality. We also would have really appreciated some levelers for the camper. Most campsites are not quite level and can make it difficult to cook and sleep. Again, we'd probably rent from Indie Campers again, but would set our expectations and bring our own bedding!
